Any taxpayer registered in the DGI, whether natural or legal, can use the electronic invoice system of Panama as of June 1, 2021, according to decree 766 of December 29, 2020.
The Electronic Invoice will be issued using the XML format and means of transmission in accordance with the specifications described in the Technical Data Sheet of the Electronic Invoice.
